Good plug Bill. This proves that fisherman are not as some people think.

Thank you, Bill!
I've been so busy, I hadn't read the paper!

Actually he did not give too much out. See the example.

Some, as described on a local fishing Web site (www.ifish.net), build carriers with a piece of dowel and chain to haul their fish out. Others drop fish into shopping bags made with material tough enough to withstand heavy loads and multiple trips.

One enterprising angler uses a ready-made product that comes with a strap -- the cover for a folding chair, like those used on camping trips.

The canvas sleeve, according to the angler, will hold as many as four coho salmon or two medium chinook. And those decoys: Duck hunters can conveniently carry and store decoy weights separately without all the wrapping and unwrapping and retying to the decoy keel.

I really think he is not abusing his relationship with I-fish.

I think it is nothing but positive.

No 'zipperlipper' should find fault with the info given.

For crying out loud, anyone can come on and read this stuff!

With all of the real problems our world is facing, why do we seem to want to look so hard for negatives? There are plenty around without fabricating any.

i was talking about the fishing info, not the ideas section. the fishing info on there sounds like alot of what was talked about here this week. i think he has every right to pass any info he finds here. that is America. but alot of people are learning that any info you put here could end up in the paper. but i think its great to share fishing info and if it makes it more crowded then so be it. we all need to be more tolerant of each other

Come on folks give Bill a break, he does a great job. I just wish that paper would give him more space. Maybe if 2000 ifishers wrote the paper, they would give him more space for what we all want to read. Should we try it? Jerry

Ooopps, my bad

I jumped to conclusions and thought you were talking about his other tips. I apologize.

I guess my reaction comes from my recent realization, or reminder of late that in the big picture of this world we have it pretty darned good. Yet we (certainly myslef included!) seem to want to whine about very trivial things at times.

I guess a little perspective can do us all good once in a while.......

Have a good weekend and GO BEAVS!!
