Default Steelhead/weather what stream will show 1st

As I sit waiting, drooling, twitching, anticipating the winter run, I ask myself in light of continued low rains which stream(s) will show signs of a significant run first. I admittingly am not all that experienced with the runs of each river. But I have a few thoughts, please add your two cents, heres mine..... Sandy River will show on schedule while coast rivers will trickle in till January. Here is my logic, with low precip levels the saving grace of water flow(meltwater stored up in snow, little that is available) will keep the steelhead "tuned" on the Sandy. Coast rivers and others will be at the mercy of some good hard rains which aren't going to show up for at least a couple of weeks.

The coast is never real consistent til December. Don't jump the gun. They are already in at the coast, but not in strong fishable numbers. A pod here and there sorta stuff. Give em til the 5th of December and it will break loose. The Sandy and Clack both are fishing low. Don't expect limits, but a good time is available to those who seek it.
I am going goose hunting.
