Default December Chrome!

Had the pleasure of floating the __________ with a young man that knows how to fish (and just happens to be my daughter's boyfriend) . Ricky and I had a great day, he's a pleasure to be around. Having a day off, I was looking foreward to being in the front of his brand new 16' Clackacraft. Trouble was, I was done about 10:00 am and then I had to row him down from there!

We back-bounced kwikfish all day, let some go, and kept these beauties:

Well, at least only the folks who recognize that takeout know where on the Tualatin you were! Dang hogmaster, had to give away the zipperlip location!

Great catch! And the fish, too!

When I was younger I had a girlfriend who's dad was a fishing nut. We hit it right off and had a great time together fishing, watching football, just being guys and all. Well, when the young lady finally got wise and 'dropped' me, it was a double whammy! Not only was I once again rejected by a woman, but I lost a great fishing buddy as well!

Hang onto him Marty!

To those that asked, we were on a stream in Tillamook County. One that had Chum in it ,did you know that I have caught a Chum on the Miami, Kilchis, Wilson, Trask and Nestucca Rivers!?! (caught one in the bay too)

The takeout photo was taken at my driveway along the banks of the mighty Fairlane a tributary of the Brookfield.

We didn't use the snubbers this time, just bounce, bounce, bounce ... yank, yank, yank... wait untill you feel the weight of the fish, and pull back!

Looks like your daughter (read boy bait) caught a nice one and then the two of you went out and caught a few nice ones. Having your daughtor choose a young man that you feel is worthy of her affections is good on it's own, but then to have him turn out to be a fine fisherman and someone who you can spend quality time with, well thats very very special........ Consider yourself lucky and thanks for the post, very nice fish.......
