Any Idaho folks want to make the trip over for the Sturgeon Challenge? I'm putting together "Team Spud", and Vandal has joined up. I wanna put as many "Spuds" together as we can and win this baby. Better yet, make sure no one comes home with the "Baton". E-mail me if you are in...

Keta, you are welcome on Team Spud. You might need to anchor the team though. I've never fished down there before.

Me too, in fact I've only caught one green sturgeon. Hundreds of halibut but not mant sturgeon.

Bad news! Wife is going to be out of town, so I'll be doing the single parent thing that weekend. Any Team Spud folks (Vandal and Keta?) are going to have to wave the flag alone. Good luck in the challenge. I'll be wishin' I was fishin'.......

Well, at least think of me... Kate and I will probably go trolling for trout (My neibor has been getting nice 5-7 pounders at C.J. Strike Reservoir). Afterwards I figure we'll go try for some oversized, cause that's what we do. There are some pigs in the Snake

Mojo....mind filling in the specifics on what kind of lures, depth, etc. they're catching those large trout on. Presume they're working in front of the dam since that seems to be what I've been hearing lately. Feel free to respond via this thread or email me if you're willing to share some info.

If the weather's right this holiday weekend I might take the boat out on C.J. and give it a try myself.
