Re: November a record month on ifish--
Bill is mumbling...
"As dawn reveals the night's activities, he realizes he has had one unique visitor, that has left four hits."
That visitor was a mole.

Re: November a record month on ifish--
Unique visitors? Does that mean each time I bring up the page, I am counted as a new visitor, or does it track different IP addresses or something?
If each is a different computer/person, that is a lot
If it counts repetitions, than I am probably responsible for about 25,000 hits

Re: November a record month on ifish--
Total Hits 19708390 (repetition hits during the day)
Total Files 8068759 (amount of all files, including every single little mood icon, etc.)
Total Pages 753744 (Total ifish pages accessed)
Total Visits 151168 (daily unique visitors with different IP addresses.) --So, if you returned the next day, it would probably tally you up as new, again.
We get anywhere from 4 to 6 k people a day, looking at ifish. Member or not? We don't know. All you lurkers, you better tell me where to fish! I am going crazy!

You're right Pete...That is sure a lot of hits though. And I'm sure the numbers will continue to go up. Lots on this site for everybody.

Re: November a record month on ifish--
It's a lot better that people are spreading out all over the state, chasing dozens of "hot bites" and caring about the fisheries than chasing the one hot bite in the weekly paper. I think you're barking up the wrong tree, WW.

I prefer to think that all these folks being here means that they are not out on the river. I hope the site gets to be more popular!

Some people with static IP addresses, may not appreciate this sensitive information. Sorry, I deleted the link. Jen

Re: November a record month on ifish--
I'd venture to guess fishing is the most popular and fastest growing sport in the pacific northwest. I work at a major semi conductor company in the area and there are so many guys and more and more ladies even getting into the sport. I'm also a golfer and I get fewer and fewer friends wanting to go hit the white ball around. I can still crush the ball 270 yards but at the expense of my hips and joints and more and more people are realizing the same thing. My cousin just quit his post as the head Pro at a major course and went back into teaching and was asking me about fishing.
