I have continued to e-mail Mr. Brinckman and his editor, asking if his story will be retracted, rewritten, or followed up.

Needless to say, I have not received any responses since the first day of our attempts to get them to follow up with "The Rest of the Story".

They obviousely do not think it matters.

Hogmaster: It's from an internal memo that gets sent to staff with bullets from the different regions to keep us informed about what is happening. The point that needs to be made here is it is the Legislature that is asking for the information. This means that maybe they will look at all data before making decisions about closing individual hatcheries. With luck, science will be the first consideration and then economics and THEN politics. But I won't hold my breath. I realize that others have different priorities than mine, and these are just my humble opinions, not policy!
