Default Great snagger story

I,ve had A bad case of skunk lately so when I saw little sign of fish @ wlison this morning I decided to look for holes on trask river rd. I get to a nice hole about mm6 . Fishing fishing fishing suddenly 2 guys fishen the flat spot above me come down with fish on & want to use my net. I say if its fair & bright go ahead. Its a snagged darkie so I said I don't think there's anything worth fishen for here. They said "snagging these is fun" I was shocked so I'm thinking about how to go About the lecture I,m about to give when who comes walking down from the road but state trooper. He wrote them both tickets. I hope they are'nt to hard on them boys they are just young & dum (prob. early 20's) . I left for tide water & caught my 3rd nooky ever  45# hen 'eggs galore  ain'nt no more stink on me

It's nice to hear about the ones that get caught.

It sure sounds like you got a nice fish. . . .

Good on ya, kindanew! Almost hate to hear that a brood mare that size didn't make it to the spawning ground but I know that there are a lot of big girls that did this year.

Make the most of those eggs and you will have plenty more fish stories to tell!

to bad law enforcment is so limited for fish and game. I see so much of that stuff on the Salmon river it makes me sick. We keep turning it in, some get caught but most get away I think.

Great story and nice fish.

Glad to hear about the snaggers getting tickets. Hope the judge throws the book at them.

Good Job on the big hen.
