Default 1.15 inches of rain!

1.15 inches of rain since last night at 6:00....

Look out salmonids!!!

It was so cool! Today Shane came over and we watched the salmon spawning in the tailout of one of the holes.
It was so cool! You could see the hen digging the redds!!!

One problem: This is where I cross the river!
I guess I'm either to find a new route, or stay the heck on my own side!!!

Finally had to put up No tresspassing signs on our lower property, and Bill is dang serious. People were making a trail down to the river's edge, where we had a natural fence, (brush, and bramble) to keep the dogs in.
That, and repeated litter has forced us to join the Jones's. We walked down, picked up the beer cans and put up the signs. We feel badly about it, but... what are we supposed to do? Let the dogs run up the trail they made and get hit by a car? Pick up their litter daily?

:depressed: We said we'd never do it. We did.

Don't blame you a bit, Jen, sad, isn't it!!

Same type of people throw a fit everytime someone blocks access to "their" river....they just don't get it, do they!!

Sorry to hear.

Yeah I would have to say I don't blame you either Jennie and Bill. Try to be nice to people and that's what you get.....such is a landowners plight. It's a shame!

Sorry to hear that you needed to post the sign. However, no one has the right to cross your land.

Anyway the Kilches has lots of public access points for which people can legally get down to the water and then move up or down stream. Hopefully avoiding the redds.

Now wait a minute. As long as they were standing within the high water mark of that river it gives them the right to be hooked and bonked like the fish, right?

If not, it should be. Even if they ARE stinky bucks.
