Re: Trailer Light Help
Have you tried Custom Trailer Parts?
They used to be located on Ochoco (sp) Street just of of McLauglhin Blvd but recently moved to northeast Portland. They have most parts for any kind of tailer.
All I have is there old phone number 503-659-5343.
Give it a try it may connect you no their new location.

Re: Trailer Light Help
netone, I used to have just those lights on my last trailer and the only place i could find them was at Baxter auto parts, but you might try NAPA as well.

Re: Trailer Light Help
That "Hegar 4 place" is now 6 Roblee's (FYI)
Just my .02- I wouldn't bother with submersible lights. Wesbar makes ones that are actually waterproof. The bulbs are encapsulated and don't get wet.
I sold parts for 17 years and I've never seen submersible lights that had a round housing. They're either square or rectangular. The ones you had must be old!!

Re: Trailer Light Help
The "Custom Parts and Trailer Supply" that was on Ochoco st in Milwaukee was bought up by a larger outfit down by Jubitz in NE Portland. A real great place for all trailer parts. Either the old phone number 503-659-5343 or the address on the door at 2106 SE Ochoco will get you there. Anyway great place for bearings, seals and they know what they are talking about. Oops! Found it! Here is is:

Re: Trailer Light Help
Hold on to your shirt tails netone. Call them back (NAPA) and ask if they have the peterson manufacturing #m424r light. IT IS 100% sealed. check out www.pmlights.com click product index. select stop/tail/and turn.
See if this isn't what your looking for.

Re: Trailer Light Help
Netone...You might wanna try that Hegar 4 place there at the west end of International Way on Hiway 224 (If that's the one that cuts between McLoughlin and Clackamas). They have stuff like that, or could order you waht you need. Not too far from Clackamas, either.
I know that Trailer Supply used to have them at their old shop, too.
