Default Is the John Day dead?

Heading there tomorrow, just wondering if any one has had any recent luck.

Thanks in advance,
Andy

The last two times I went it was pretty slow, before that it was awesome! Looks like most of the action is on pink prawn tails under bobbers. We got a couple that way both natives. Not a touch on the old plugs. I have heard it is ok outsied on the CR.

Good luck

PS If you see my fishing mojo up there give me a call. I think I lost it somewhere up there

I was there Fri. and Sat. I never touched a fish trolling and it seemed slow for the others I saw. You never know the bites may turn on while you're there. I did see a couple fish caught off the bank on the Columbia ,that may be the best bet.

Don't know how high up you plan on fishing but when I lived in LaGrande, November was prime for the Kimberely area.
