Default Newbie, well kinda

Well I admit I have been lurking for a while but I decided what the heck. Umm well I live in Eastern Oregon and Primarily Fly-fish with my buddies. We all think we are supperior to bait fisherman he he he. This time of year I am a hardcore bird hunter with my trusty lab and lots of acres we do pretty good. Well Here is my story. I know many people on here think the word zipperlip also means, fantasy, non existent, etc. I however disagree. I discovered a place were virtually no pressure exists. I decided to fish it one day with no expectation to catch much other than a sunburn. Started at 9 A.M. first fish at 10 A.M. 16 inches of pure sleek beauty. Well to make a long story short. I landed 9 fish in 4 hours and 3 of the fish were 19 inches or bigger. Now in some places that might not me so good but here in Northeast Oregon, yea I think I will take it. Zipperlips exist out there but they are not easy to find sometimes they are right in front of your face while other times it will take brush waders and a machete. Oh the best part of those fish is 100% of them were released unharmed. Ounce again glad to be on board.
