The frustrating part of this is that... it may very well not happen.
How many times have they been wrong?
The only real bad part, is that you sure wouldn't want to put in a drift boat and find out they were right.
I've witnessed to many boats pulling up at our house, saying "Can we take out here?" Poor kids!
Then, one time, while Bill was shuttling one of them, to go get his car, the guy left holding the boat couldn't hold it down, and it blew the drift boat clear over!!!

It gets nasty 'round these parts.... We jest never know when..... haahahha

Well....I don't know if y'all can remember the forecast for Tillamook last weekend....but I do.

And I went....

And it was just like any other day in Tillamook...not too bad really.

But I'm passin' this weekend. Just hadn't planned on going, and besides...I'm setting myself up for the next "Honey-Do" project...as it's just about that time again.

I think I'd be more inclined to go there on Sunday intead of Saturday if I was going though.

Time to head to that "zipperlip" home improvement store.

Fissionmission - the forecast for the coast last weekend was dead on if you were listening to the Marine forecast. I was there Thurs night- Sat Am and then travelled up the CR Sat PM/Sun. It was a howling gail thurs night/Friday.

Sat - 10-20 (normal) just like they said on Fridays forecast. Just don't listen more than the day before.

Anyone seen any Tillamook weather reports for Sun? That's the day I'm going.

This time I think it's going to come true...

I have already had a 43 MPH gust at my house this AM... Be careful out there!

South of Astoria - 5:28AM dead calm, dry. 5:29 strong gusts for about 5-10 minutes. Now (6:20) no wind, light rain. Who knows?

Not a breath of wind where Im at. Though the clouds are moving in from the south. There was actually ice in my windshield this morning when I got off work.

I hope the weather doesnt get too nasty, I plan on interducing my girlfriend to a chinook tomorrow. Since this will be her first real fishing trip I want the weather to be halfway decent.
