I've been waiting for them to fix that sewer leakage problem in Oregon City

Actually I was wondering if all the coho blew up the Clack with the rains ?????
Only our depthfinders would know.

I think that we will go out with the plan to sturgeon c & r...

Probably will bring the coho stick, though.

What bait do you use to catch corn backed finless brown trout?

Haven't noticed anyone boat fishing at or below the mouth.

Some plunkers at Meldrum have supposedly been into a few winters. Pretty miss with an occasional hit.

Sturgeon is probably a better bet. The cliff dwellers have been out in droves lately so there must be fish biting.

Take sand shrimp and smelt. One or the other will work if anything will...

Good luck!

PS You can RETAIN sturgeon in the Willamette!

HM, yeah, but do you really WANT to?

We usually fish below Ram's Head or across from Meldrums. Not too fond of the garbage hole, I paid way too much for my anchor.

Other than those two spots, what else is good? I have heard of a good hole about 1/4 mile above Selwood, but have yet to try it.

I know where that hole is above Sellwood. I've never tried it either, but I've seen quite a few shakers pulled out of there.
Cedar Island is known to be pretty hot at times. I've been told of another small but way deep spot above downtown Milwaukie. There's one hole I've been curious about in the LO area. I used to ride my Wave Runner after work and there was this one boat with the same guys in it night after night anchored in the same exact spot. One night I drifted by up close just to make sure they were still alive, since I was starting to wonder. They didn't say much, but they wouldn't spend that much time in one spot if the fishing wasn't any good. Maybe they were part of a government stakeout?
Gotta go find my tinfoil hat............

Above the Lake O trestle and east of the barge tie in there's a good spot. Also...the area by the sea planes below the trestle is good...Above The Milwaukie boat ramp...there's usually someone fishing there, but I never have. If you want deep...right below Hog Island is good, or just up from the park at Lake Oswego. Lotsa deep water in that area.

Make sure you have a break-away on your anchor...it's sticky in some spots.
