When preparing your Christmas Cards, consider sending one or two cards to organizations, businesses or agencies for whom you would like to show your appreciation. For example, the US Coast Guard is at the top of my list - here is a list of Stations.

Others to consider might include the tackle shop or marina you call to get current weather, water or fishing conditions (do not forget to buy something once in awhile - gotta keep them in business, ya know). Maybe one of the local government agencies has been of particular service to you or others (e.g. OSP, ODFW, WDFG, OSMB).
Heck, I suppose there could even be a website we really value and appreciate!
