Default Boat bone yard NFR

Is there such a thing? I am looking for a complete engine (351 High Per.) & 212 Hamilton pump. I'll rebuild the engine if needed. I was wondering if you can buy a complete boat that got totaled, that fell off the trailor from an insurance co. Or is there some other place to look for these two items. Both engine and pump are a high dollar new in the crate. Thanks

Ford 351W's are all over the place. The best ones are the early versions with the adjustable rockers, sometimes called a 351 Boss. Kinda hard to find these, though. If you really wanted to get funky, you could build a "W' engine with Cleveland heads. Oops, better stop, I'm getting carried away.....

Oregon Outboard Salvage may have what you need but they will be proud of it. $$$

Try also Engine Rebuilders Supply in Troutdale, by the airport. They will have the engine or any part of it you need. Pssssssst...... that's where the chevy 4 banger in my boat came from when I had to replace a cracked block.

There is also a boat salvage yard on the road to Blue lake park in the same area. Can't remember the name. You might be able to Nickel ad it as well. Buy the whole broken boat and part it out. Not everyone who owns a jet boat fishes or wants to deal with a broken motor or pump. You see some real low ball deals on boats in Nickel ads.

Good luck.
