Default Input on Caddis Waders

I need a new pair of waders and I am considering the Caddis line. I am considering either the Deluxe breathable wader or the Northern guide breathable wader. Has anyone had experience with these? Are they decent? I am looking to spend no more than $200 and these seem well in budget and a local company.

My Caddis have been great. Had them for a handful of years until I sprung a leak in the neoprene boot part this year. I believe the leak was a result of the footy being to large for my foot. I would definitely consider getting another pair in the future, but will focus more on the foot size in the future

i have the deluxe model. got them as a gift 2 yrs ago. i have only used them 5 times, but they are great, still no leaks. i've used them in the Ronde when there were shelves of ice on the banks, only wore tights underneath and i was still warm.

I bought the deluxes last spring and used the heck out of em all summer and fall. No problems whatsoever for me. I think all around caddis makes a good product, I have a pair of their neo's too and they've been good

I have a set of the breathable guide model tan with the brown reinforced knee and bottom areas. Very impressed with them for the price. I am going on my third season and just applied the Aqua Seal this last week. My fault from getting in and out of the DB in to deep of water. Going to watch for a sale and get another pair for sure.

Don't know what the warranty is on those but Cabelas has lifetime warranties for their own brand which come in several quality/price options. When they leak - they replace with new. They sent me a brand new pair after my first ones starting leaking that were at least 5 years old. I dont know how you could go wrong with a warranty like that.

I bought a wadding jacket from Cabela's last year and love it. I might try the wadders now after hearing about that warranty. Plus its a ton of fun to visit the store!

In your price range I would also look at Dan Bailey lightweights. several people rave about them.

I have a pair of deluxe breathables ,had them for about 8 months. The seams started to leak from alot of stress i put on them from doing alot of hiking when i fish,so i called caddis and told them the problem ,they told me to send them in and they would replace them.I had a new pair within a week ,and have had no problems with them since. For the price they are a good wader.

bought a pair last year as a last minute replacement. every seam leaked, would have been better off wading in my jeans. never crossed my mind to even look at a warranty. guess i will dgout the box and reciept and give it a shot
