Default WTB Fly reel

I got start 6/7 wt fly rod and reel combo but I am not a huge fan of the reel, mainly just because it has no drag. Ive never fished for steelhead/salmon/bass on the fly but I think a drag would be nice.

All I am looking for is one that is 6/7/8 wt. WITH a drag. Perferably nice, and inexpensive.

Thanks

Google fly shop closeouts. Lots of great deals on lamson and orvis reels.

I have mostly all hardy or similar reels that have no drag. It's a blast to fish! Use your palm for more drag. Click and pawl reels that have loud drags are the best!

Go fish the reel you have and I bet when you get a fish to rip some line off you will change your mind

Pick up an Okuma SLV. Solid drag that can handle steelhead. You should be able to find them around at shops for $40 or so.

Notellem, im new to fly fishing so I would perfer to just have one with a drag...for now. This reel is REALLY loose, I cant manage to pick it up without getting tangled in the fly line lol :backlaugh:

Im thinking something hopefully around 20$.
Thanks for the input guys.

Went to cabelas and they had an 8wt combo 4 peice, looked nice for 40 $$$ The one I got was 35. I dont think its as nice though.

P.S If anyone wants to buy/trade for the old reel I will trade for anything fly fishing/fly tying related.
