Alse North Fork Open Today, Reports Please...
Went to the North Fork on Sunday, looked good for fishing. Saw one guy fishing a little early and getting a ticket for it. Just wondering if anyone is fishing it on Monday, and how did you do. There are fish in the trap.

We all know ther ain't no steenking feesh in the NF Alsea and if there were, they would be those inferior Alsea hatchery fish that you just wanna shake off your hook like a sucker. Last time I caught an Alsea hatchery fish, he fell apart as I was reeling him in, cuz, as you all know by the time steelhead make it up to the North Fork hatchery, they are just a bunch of half dead sore back spawners, and they never bite anyway.
Seeya on the river soon!

Actually Mark, the last couple alsea fish I caught were falling apart- egg by egg all over the ground! And they were in fact chrome. They only FOUGHT like soreback spawners

Hey Joe, long time no see. How ya been? I saw a lot of that last year myself. By mid January, at least half of the hens were egg drippers. You coulda whitewashed a fence with the bucks.
Too bad those Siletz fish ain't worth the drive over neither, huh?

I'd rather catch carp than make that drive

I saw them get busted about 1p.m.. Stater just got there, and he told us somebody called him and said there were people fishing. 150 dollar ticket, and that's without fish. Might want to learn how to read people.
