Default I need some big leadhead jigs

I'm looking for a reasonably priced source for 4-8oz jig heads. I tend to lose these pretty fast on the reef. It's getting expensive and I don't have the gear to pour my own. Ideas besides quit losing them?

I bet this isn't news to you since you are in Seal Rock but the store at the Newport Marina seems to have the best prices I have ever found.

You might see if you can find someone with the molds and track down some lead and trade them some of your lead for jigs or see if someone will loan you a jig and pour a bunch of your own.

If I had the mold you needed I'd hook you up but I haven't invested in that one yet.

Other ideas that don't require molds: copper pipe jigs are easy to make if you have some lead. I also buy heavy butter knives at goodwill for a quarter break them in half, drill holes in the top and bottom of the heavy (handle) half, add hooks and go fishing.

Change your setup and use a dropper loop with grubs and use spark plugs or anything cheap as weights on the bottom , jig heads get sagged easily and aren't cheap
