I was wondering if anyone has been fishing the North Fork of the Lewis? I have been in South Carolina for the last little while and now that I am back was wondering how the fishing is on the Lewis.

I fished it on Saturday. Slow is the word for now. I saw a Dark Buck Coho caught and released, a nice 10+ pound Summer, and what appeared to be a nice small winter. I am just guessing on the Winter because it was on the opposite bank from where I was at but looked really bright. I managed to hook 2 fish. First was a big sucker that was promptly released. Second was only a head shake before it was gone.
Water was running right at around 5000 cfs, so a bit on the high side for this time of year.
