Default 2 bit & Hospital

Went to the 2 bit and Hospital hole Yesterday(SUN.) Saw a lot of fish cuaght, But none in our new boat . We had 3 long line releases. one fish was in the 40 lbs range (Dahm!!!). Could the lost fish be due to the 6/0 hooks we were using? I think so. My bro does'nt.

No offense but if you were fishing corkies you might have inadvertently foul hooked those fish.

Its like this:

Bang, fish on, long run, no control, fish off.

If you were fishing a 6/0 Owner and a fish bit it, he'd be dinner.

Try the bobber thing. I just caught my first Chinook on bobber. 6/0 Owner, ABU 6501C4, Loomis SAR1084.

Fish was dead in less than 90 seconds.

We were using bobber and egg. I would like to see the size of corkie with a 6/0 hook.

Corkie Monster - Go down to a 5/0 and you don't have to be fancy or expensive.

Eagle Claw black 5/0 lazer sharps have worked for me for years.

Tie a small piece of chart or red yarn right onto your leader, right above the eye of the hook.

Simple granny knot. Cut the ends off about the same length from the eye to the base of the hook.

Scent holder and hangs up in their mouth better.

Let them take the bobber under and hold it under, then rip.

Rick
