Default Clarified rules on Washougal Slough!

According to the thursday morning Columbian newspaper outdoor section, Al Thomas reported that if you are from out of state you need a non-resident fishing license to fish the Washougal slough area. The Washington DFW will issue tickets. If you have both Oregon and Washington non-resident licenses than I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't think so. We just had this discussion. Here's the link. Is Al Thomas just trying to save the slough for himself?

Where is Al getting his information? The ODFW AND WDFW both say that the shougal channel is part of the Columbia.

I thought I clarified it yesterday when I made the call to the region office #5 in Vancouver Wahsington and spoked to Jennifer. Did she lie to me?

I think I would believe the information from WDWF over some reporter from the Columbian Newspaper. Someone might want to e-mail him and let him know what we were told by WDWF so he can retract the statement.
