Default 10-26 results

Fished with Smokey and Rip'N'Lips Tillamook direction this weekend. A couple nicer guys you couldnt find to fish with. We picked up 3 hens all about 30 lbs on a long days bobber fishing. Pogeys were terrible.

These guys come fishing like the 3 wise men, they were bearing gifts (frankincense and myrrh ) I dont think Smokey has ever had somebody put the net over his head when he had a fish on before. Smokey broke his new pole in like a champ, and it put a big smile on his face as the light faded. I would fish with these guys any time.

Smokey didnt believe me when I told him I dont wash my boat. He pulls a scrub brush out of his tackle box and between fishing spots he is polishing up the boat.  The motor started acting funny as smokey scrubbed on the boat, and I had to tell her, he wasnt touching her inappropriately. My boat has never seen a scrub brush and I think she was just a little taken back by it all, but finally she started to run fine again.

Sorry all the photos are the old style 35mm type, gotta wait for a while.

Roy,
Gald to see you catching fish. If you ever want to hang up your buzz bombs and double corkie rigs  , I have some round bobbers that you can have for free

Good show.

Thanks to BOE for a great time fishing tidewater. Put me into my first fish ever on a bobber, broke in the new rod, and learned a fishery that I can manage with my drift boat and motor.

Bait got the first two hens. Both cut real nice and full of eggs. I got the last hen. A little dark, but full of bait.

Roy is great guy to fish with. Handed off a fish to my buddy on a slow day, then stayed out till dark to try and get us into one last fish. Payed off with a hen on my rod and a net over my head.

Figured out what makes good fishing partners:

Everybody on the boat is very serious about fishing, (being on time, having proper gear, respecting the sport, fish long and hard) but never forgets why its called "fishing" and not "catching".

Thanks again BOE for a great time. Anytime you want a drift trip you got it!
