Default WTB Crab Davit

Broke my crab davit yesterday and looking for a replacement. Any used ones out there or suggestions where I may purchase a new one?

Thank You,
Phil

If it were me it would an excuse to run up to Fishermans. They have a good selection and brackets. How does one break a Davit?

It was made out of aluminum, how old? Plus had a good size muscular fellar pulling crab pots up (wish they were full). Oh well stuff happens, it's time for an upgrade, right?

I have seen his ads on Craigslist and they look like nice rigs. Do you know if they include the pulley?

+1 for Gordo! Have one of his seat pedestals and I love it. Clean welds. Fair price. And he met me half way.

I am also going to have him do a bunch of fill-ins on my boat and some minor fab work. If I ever get the chance to bring the boat to him.

I too am in the market for a davit, and spoke with a vendor at the Sportsmans Show that was selling them there. Looked like good stuff, but one of his comments was to get a davit made with schedule 80 aluminum pipe. Something to think about, and that is what I will get.

I've got a chromed davit that came off a Northriver that I will be putting up for sale.

It has Folbe gunnel/deck fittings (not sure if I'm keeping them or not).

No pulley.

Might be several weeks before I can get it out of storage.
