McNary Slowwwwwww and COLD! 10/25 - 10/26

Yagermeister and I started trolling around
8:00 pm. We trolled and trolled and trolled
until finally at 3:00 am I finally hit a
hog. A 37 inch Hatchery Steelhead. Was 7
hours of trolling worth it for that fish?
You Betcha! Tremendous fight! He came out
of the water three times. That was the only
rip we got last night.

Fished it Thursday night from 10:30 to the wee morning hours. Not one takedown. It was very slow, but a few others had fish. Cold? If the moon had not been out I would have swore we were on it.

i bank fished ringold for 5 hours and only two strikes, 0 caught. then went over to wallula having heard that people were catching lots of steelhead off the bank there. spent 3 1/2 hours bobber fishing and not a touch. no one around me caught any either.

it was 27 degrees when i hit the water and ill bet nearly that cold when i left. maybe the fish found a jacuzzi to hang out in all day....i know i could have used one.
