Yes the title is a little different and strange but so am I.

Responded to Bug_Flicker's thread today looking for a crab victim and my curiosity was put to the test.
So a couple hours later we were off to the coast.

A couple hours later after arriving at Hammond we were headed home with a couple dozen hard shelled crabs.

It was both of our first time crabbing at Hammond with the exception of a crab/salmon combo I did a few years back but in no time we got her figured out.

Had a great time bs'ing with the bug the way down, there and the way back.
At one point Keith made a comment about "the one that rode on top" referring to the "jumbo" that was "hanging out" on top of the pot when I brought it in and I said maybe that would make a good name for the thread.

So there ya go.
Great weather, great company, and excellent crabbing (should be some good eating too).

Thats funny, I picked up 2 Jumbo's on different pulls the same way this year!

I wonder if they get to be Jumbo's because they do things a little different than your standard Dungie?

I when out with Tilla and his brother on Tuesday and I had a jumbo dumbo on one of my pulls :shocked: .
The crabing was good almost had 3 limits in one pull of 8 traps.
