Default Yaquina?

Does anyone have any reports from the Yaquina River this week? It was slow Saturday and Sunday so just wondering...
Thanks.

I talked with a friend who fished Monday and they put two small hens in the boat around the 47 marker (Toledo boat ramp) and he saw several other fish caught around the 31 marker.

I do not have a report since then. I can't fish again until at least Saturday, so will post and let you know how we did.

Fished yesterday. One hen about twenty pounds by the oyster farm for three poles. Didn't see any others caught!

Yes... The ship is still sunk in the corner near Riverbend Moorage and Repair on the Yaquina. It will probably be there forever until it breaks up.

I was told by USCG personnel that there is a dispute over who has the responsibility for removing it and it has since filled in with mud and would probably break up if any attempt was made to move it out. It has probably become part of the scenery and lore of the Yaquina.

See ya all on the river on Saturday. SD

Tyee,
Yes, we were there yesterday with David Johnson. We had multiple hits, 8 fish on, 4 landed and 2 keepers. Not too bad.

Hay guys! I was there between 23 and 31 markers on sunday, didn't see any fish being caught by too many boats! Everyone was using cut plug bait! about noon I switched to some tillamook spinners and got two silvers and a 25 lb nook in about 2 hours! We where in about 7 ft of water. so don't be afraid to try other things here. P.S. we did release the coho's so don't rag on me boy's!

Careful Fishplay will get upset if you talk about this "zipperlip" river!

Ya right!
