Default CR Coho Today

Fished the CR Today around Chinook Landing. There were a few boats and fewer fish. Saw two boats with fish and one of those was a little ummmm... dark. We had one hard take down and that was it.

Beautifyl day got these cool shots of the sunrise.

You Betcha,

Way to go man. We were doing the same thing just did not get the fish.

Welcome to the board. You know there is a rule that you have to post a fishing story when you are a newbie limit or not If you don't you get a hexiwhamycurse that will not allow any more limits

So lets have a story!

Even if there was no fish in the boat that is what fishing is all about.

Don't have much of a fishing story as a warning. Was fishing alone in the Camas slough last week when a tug came up the slough out of the CR. He had a 2 to 3 ft wake and I was 50 to 70 ft away, turned my bow into the wake. When it hit, my bow came up so far I thought I would flip over backwards It knocked things around in the boat but I was OK. I had my PFD on, afterwords all I could think of is the guy the Mult. Co. Sherriff boats were dragging for out in the CR the day before. Anyway if you are fishing alone wearing a PFD is cheap insurance!
