I put this together off a few recipies try it out its good!
Here goes.
1.25 Lb ground Beef
1.25 Lb Stew Meat
1 Whole white onion
2 cloves fresh garlic
2 Jalapeno peppers (or more per your taste)
2 10oz cans pinto beans Not drained
2 10oz cans black beans Not drained
2 10oz cans tomato puree, paste, or sauce
2 Tble spoon chili powder
2 Tsp cumin
Salt and Pepper as desired
2 Tsp oregano
1 slow cooker (crock pot)
- Dice onion, peppers,garlic.
- chop stew meat into small pieces and brown over med high heat.
- Brown ground beef.
- Add all browned meat to the slow cooker.
- Add seasioning and chopped onion, peppers,and sauce.
- Add Salt and Pepper to taste.
- Mix Well.
- If you desire add your favorite hot sauce for hotter chili.
- (I use tapatio or habanero hot sauce)
- Slow cook for 7-8 hours over low heat
- Serve with corn bread.
