Default McNary Dances with Natives 10/21 - 10/22

Yagermeister, Buzz Guidewire and I hooked 9 fish last night. We were able to land 6 of them. A big push of natives were going through. Of the six, 4 were spirited natives. The two hatchery fish were 34 inches and 30 inches. Gary again had a fish ram the boat and knock itself senseless early in the fight. Sure makes for easier netting.I found Vinnys submarine out in the middle of the river. That fish didn't even run. Just pounded on the rod with head shake after head shake. After a few minutes of that I was minus one of the new style vortexes that Ray Scott had sent me. These new vortexes are awesome. God bless you Ray. Going back after that plug stealer tonight! Darn terrorist fish!

FNF I would like to head down there this weekend probably saturday night. What color of vortex works best? I saw your post on the shrimp recipe and placement of the meat on the hook. I've also seen you post about using your electric to troll, could ya tell me what speed your going and how many pulls. I know some things are best kept a secret so if you are so inclined to share you can always e-mail me thanks Nate, p.s. has bumper chrome ie Sam been down there yet this year?

Slutgoddess,
The new vortexes won't be on the market until December. He has to get 300,000 plug orders filled by then! They are far superior to the originals. I do not yet know how long the sealed batteries will last but I have five trips in so far and the plug still blinks brighter then the ones you have to add batteries to. I figure I am already ahead on a cost basis.
Nate,
No secrets here. I have been using Yo-zuri hybrid line in 15-20 pound test. I put the plugs out 35 pulls with the electric running and 50 pulls with the kicker running. When using the electric, I just watch the glow stick on the end of my rod. It needs to be going tick, tick tick, tick whooooooooosh ZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZ ZZZ FISH ON!
Bumper Chrome,
You need to get back to the dam! The fish are making fun of you. We heard a pod of steelys talking and when your name was mentioned there was a whole lot of giggling!

FNF,
Sorry I missed you! It took several hours to get the new trailer, get license plates swapped, and get the old one on a lot for consignment. We fished Lewiston (Mill Hole) using your techniques. We tried Vortex's and Sadu Strobes. Fish jumping all around. Had a few bumps and a guy we were fishing with got one about 10-12 lbs (Vortex, clear black back).

We fished the Salmon River yesterday, and got 2, one 30" and one 32".

I'll keep in touch, and hopefully get up there soon for a night attack. Working on the electric troller right now.

By-the-way, you got the coolest voice messaging message I have ever heard on your cell!
