Favorite Seasoning
Everyboby's got their own tastes. I prefer Old Bay seasoning for any type of fish (Especially red snapper). But I'm willing to try anything once and was wondering if any of y'all had more suggestions.

Re: Favorite Seasoning
We lived in the south for a little while and I tried Zatarain's and Tony Chachere's, it puts in a cajun flavor without being overpowering. Good stuff.

Re: Favorite Seasoning
We got addicted to Spade L Ranch steak rub, but I have since moved on to a rub recipe off the Net that doesn't use MSG.

Re: Favorite Seasoning
I no longer use store bought mixtures. I prefer to use a mixture of fresher spices, along with some homegrown mixtures. Such as spicy paprika's, fennel, etc. On my last trip to the spice store, I found some chipotle spice.
Smoked mesquite salt, smoked sea salt, mmm, they are hard to beat.

Blue Star's All-Purpose Seasoning.
A company out of Stockton, CA makes it and it makes anything better. We use it on all meats and any vegtable.

That's what I like about Old Bay too. It goes on almost anything: meats, veggies
