Default Jettin' Fools BBQ Beans

JF's Meaty BBQ Beans


· 1 Large Can of Bush’s Original Baked Beans
· 1 can black beans (drained)
· 1 can dark Kidney Beans (drained)
· 1 small can of corn (drained)
· 1 lb. ground Hamburger (browned)
· 1 Medium/Large Onion (Diced)
· 1 Pablano Pepper (Diced)
· 4-5 Jalapeno’s (Diced)
· 1 yellow Bell Pepper (Diced)
· 1 Red Bell Pepper (Diced)
· 1 Serrano Pepper (Diced)
· 1 Anaheim Pepper (Diced)
· Minced Garlic
· 5 shakes of Hot Sauce (Tabasco or Chalula)
· 3 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
· 2 Tbsp. Molasses
· 4 Tbsp. Ketchup
· 1 Cup BBQ Sauce
· 1+ lbs. Smoked Brisket or Tri Tip (Diced)
· Cayenne Pepper to taste

Put all ingredients into a crock pot for 2-3 hours before serving.. These are a proven hit!

Made a pot this last weekend.

It's got some nice heat to it.

The sweet and heat work well together.

It's a keeper of a recipe.

I made this recipe yesterday and it was stellar!

I swapped elk burger and some elk steak for the brisket. I formed the ground beef into patties and put both those and the elk steaks in my big chief and ran 2 pans of chips through it, then finished it off in the dutch oven. The smoky flavor was there throughout the beans.
