Default Let's see them pretty boats!!

I'm one of those I-Fishers who loves pics!! We see lots of fish, but I wanna see some sleds, drifters, or other fishing machines!!

Here are mine...a 2001 Weldcraft Renegade and a co-owned Hyde drifter.

Images can be seen in my album (can't get them loaded here for some reason)--> Boat/Fishing Pics

OK, so it really doesn't look special from this angle, but what the heck. At least half the beauty of a drift boat is where it goes and how it feels, right?

I like the fact that after they rammed the boat onto the piling, they tied it up "just in case".

My boat's not pretty yet. When she is, you'll see pics. Got my three coats of varnish on the wood last weekend and it's real pretty now. I'm still wrapping up some other stuff and waiting for the warmest days possible to bend the rails on. Stay tuned...

I thought that was funny too. This guy is not having very good luck with boats......notice the name is Temporary Insanity II. I think I would quite buying boats if I were him.

Hey Steve, I will tell you what. The most fish I have ever caught out of a boat was an old wooden drift boat that leaked like a siv. If it floats don't knock it. Fish do not care what a boat looks like. We do

O.K. twist my arm. I never get bored with showing off my pride and joy. Just had her in to NR after 3 years of trouble free ownership for installation of a Washdown pump and fuel flow meter - always need to add a new toy or two every year! The fuel flow meter is awesome - even keeps track of how many gallons you use per trip so you don't need to ever depend on those dashboard mounted fuel guages that never seem to be accurate. TUNA here I come!

  With all these boat-owners on I-Fish, we should have some sort of an extravaganza. You know how you see a bunch of Corvettes or vintiques rolling down the road? How cool would that be if we did the same with a bunch of boats?

Then we could all go somewhere that ALL boats could run, like a huge reservoir or on the CR.

Rogue,

I'll fill your intake with garbage bags so I can take you!!

What do you top out at? With my Weldcraft completely emptied out I can get around 50mph, which is plenty fast for me considering it's a V6 and I don't really need to go that fast!

Here is a shot at Sucia Island. I really feel lucky to have the San Juan's in my back yard.

Crabbait---I wish you and Skein would post more pics of those tanks.

Hmmm- not to good a job on the sizing, but then I'm just a Tunaholic not an artist!

Maybe somebody can help me out? All fixed

PS- there is an ifish sticker on my back window in the cockpit. Guess I need a couple more on the sides huh?

Yellow North River,

Don't feel bad, most people's eyesight begins to fail as they pass that magic age, you might try corrective lenses.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. BTW Nice boat!
