Luhr Jensen custom ifish kwikfish! YAY!

How fun! Lurh Jensen is going to make custom ifish Kwikfish for ifish.net!

They will have our logo on them, and the year, so they will be collectors! :smile: :smile:

They will be used as prizes, and gifts, and for sale at the Sportsman Show! I think it sounds awesome!

But... what color? Buzz is going to make up a handful of custom colors for us to choose from. Personally, I've always wanted a plain chrome with a chartreuse butt, only.

Any color choices, guys and gals? If you could have a kwikfish painted the way you wanted... what would it be? What is the ifish 2004 kwikfish going to look like?

Plain chrome with a chartruse butt is deadly, I have several of them that are killers.

Awesome! I personally like metallic chartruese, but a metallic type green with the logo would be pretty cool too. I was just thinking about making an Ifish kwiky myself! Edit: Chartruese on silver is sorta common, how bout something that ONLY we have?!

Not to change the subject... I met a gentleman from Bend (I think) at Sellwood during springer season. He had these modified kwik fish where they had the last 3rd of the body cut off and sealed and a tail made of corkies getting smaller at the end. Anyone ever seen these?

What I would like to see is a metallic chartruese with red spots in size 14. This color has been a liller in other lures that I have hand painted and would love to have a couple kwikfish that color. And yes, I too amm starting to dream about the springers, I can't wait.

no matter how many different colors you have there is always one that you have never seen that if you just had it you know it would be a killer. I guess that is why I can't go into a sporting goods store without coming out with a color I don't have or have never seen before. And then ofcourse you have to buy at least two or three just in case they do work.

How about pearl white, with hot pink stripes running the lenght of each side, and a chartreuse butt? I had one for about 2 days, broke off in a springer and haven't seen one since... :depressed:

Silver body - Chartreuse Head – single bright red verticle stripe at the Chartreuse Silver boarder to simulate a gill opening. Pink along the leading edge of the head to simulate Jen’s pink lip stick. Ifish logo on top of the head and the letters IFISH.NET along the Back.

I would never use something so special as a Kwikfish with an ifish logo on it to fish with. I would keep it properly displayed in my trophy case right along with that 80lb Coho I caught earlier this year. OK, so I don't have a trophy case. :blush:

Oh yeah, other idea, in Alaska we used hot shots and a kwiki that was a light orange color, sorta sherberty, it worked pretty well, but they have them NO WHERE. I think it's a tried and true color, just not on the market.

Here are some choices, (not all!) that have been sent to us by L. Jensen. Colors can be changed, or anything we like... but just ideas.
These are on the "Hot Dot" theme that made the California Watermelon color so popular last year.
