Good freind of mine has been camped at Alsea tidewater for the last month. A few are being picked up here and there, but it's slow enough that his party has pretty much givin up fishing for now in favor of Crabbing. If you're fishing from the bank, there is a good hole at mile marker 12. This is where I fish when the water conditions are as they have been. There is a dirt road down onto the rocks, its pretty easy to spot. Good for bobber and drifting. Caught a Chinook, Silver, and Winter Steelhead in the same day out of that hole in late October last year... Post your results, I'm looking to make a trip down there soon.
