Default To Bluewater-- Get Well Soon!

I am going to pin this to the top, as we gather well wishes for Bluewater on ifish, who was shot in a hunting accident. You may read about the story, on the Anglers Chapel, Here.

Please add your note of encouragement here, and we will print this off in a couple days, grab a card, and send it to him.

Bluewater has been an excellent member of ifish, and has always encouraged safety and family activities.

Please, please, take a minute to make his day, and to make his family feel special.

I will delete this message before we print this.

Even if you didn't know him, offer a few words... something to make him laugh, just to say hi, or simply to offer him encouragement on the road to wellness!

Thanks,
Jen

Blue,

Sorry I do not know your name. I am sorry to hear you had an accident out in the field. One of many reasons I do not hunt anymore. One thing to think about as you recover. My mother has been in the hospital and is 65 years old. Over a week ago she was in ICU only to go to a noraml room to die. To this very day I sit and wait for that call. I visit her every day, however she probably does not know I am there. At any rate as I pray for her I will add you to my list and pray for you as well. Be strong.

Best wished

God Bless

Bluewater, we may never meet face to face, but the fact of the matter is we are all brothers or sisters on this great planet. We share a common love and that is to enjoy god creatures. Yes we too are one of gods creatures. So at this time I would like to extend my heartfelt wishes on a speedy recovery.
God bless my friend.

Bluewater,

i haven't had the pleasure of meeting you yet, but you have my best wishes for a speedy recovery. they say laughter is the best medicine..so i hope this brings you some small ammount of happiness.

best wishes,

Ed

A man takes his wife out deer hunting for the first time. It's early in the
morning and the husband is explaining the rules to his wife, "Now, remember
these woods have allot of greedy people in them, so if you shoot one, run right
over to it and guard it with your life. If you don't someone else will."
The wife nods okay.
"And, if you get in trouble, shoot your gun in the air three times. I'll be
over as soon as I can."
And again the wife nods okay.
"Now, this is what we're going to do. See that ridge to your right. You're
going to sit on top of that one, and I will sit on this one to the left."
They both agree and go to their blinds. About thirty minutes after sunrise,
the husband hears a gunshot come from the ridge his wife is sitting on. He
thinks to himself, "Cool, her first time out deer hunting and she gets one!"
Five more minutes pass, and he hears three gunshots come from the other
ridge. He thinks, "Oh, great. Now she's in trouble."
Being the good husband he was, he ran over to the other ridge. As he reached
the top, he came into a clearing where his wife was holding off another man with
her gun. The husband gingerly walked up to them and said, "Alright, what's
going on here!?!"
Promptly the other man looks at the husband and says, "Look, I don't want any
trouble from you. Just let me get the saddle off first."

Bluewater, never met you or chatted privately with, but good luck and a speedy recovery. I also hope that your partner who accidently shot you recovers emotionally from his/her injuries as well. Very tragic events like these can hinder relationships.

I recently penned a song, "Only the lucky ones", interesting how it fits. Originally intended for kids who get kidnaped and returned home. I see now how it applies to all bad events. Basically means that there shouldn't be lucky ones - bad things just shouldn't happen.

Let there be no need for anguish,
Let there be no more wondering
Let there be no more children needing to be the lucky one

Good Luck

Bluewater,

Just the thought of your online name brings my mind to a better place.

Get well soon, and do what the Doc tells you to do.

Peace, Tom

I hope you recover from this accident. When you get to PT put as much effort as you can into your rehab.

Hello Bluewater, sorry to learn of your misfortune and hope that the worst is behind you and better days are ahead. After a painful accident I found that time on the water was good therapy. Hope it works for you. Here's to a full and fast recovery!
