Default Southern Oregon Coast Reports?

Has anyone been fishing the Coos or Coquille with any success? I was thinking about a journey down there sometime soon and needed a report or two.

Thanks,

Fished the Coos yesterday... wasn't nearly had, "HOT" as last weekend. We managed a couple 15# chinook and two Coho, one clipped, both about 7 pounds.

All of our fish but one were hooked in the Mashfield channel on the incoming tide. The other at SOMAR on the high slack.. not a ton of action, and only a hand full of boats down low.. lots up the Millicoma side..

The Coos has been producing fish everyday this week according to my sources.. the Coquille is not. It has been very slow this month.. I spoke to a guide friend Thursday night.. he landed 3 on the Coquille Tuesday.. and didn't touch a fish the rest of the week.. hes now fishing the Coos again

I hate to say that I am done with the Coquille this year, but things don't look good :depressed: We have had some of our better days in Oct. I hope this season is no different.. until I hear a good report I will stay on the Coos.

Umpqua 10/05-

In the Deans Creek area, it was a nice day for a boat ride.
Nary a bump for me despite trying all the hardware I had. I saw a few caught. And one 25 minute fight for a tail hooked 5 foot sturgeon.
The fish checker counted 10 silvers and 2 chinook by the time I quit at 3pm.
He said that just after the rain (10/2?) close to 200 fish were reported (many native silvers that went back).
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

My buddy was on the Coquille for three days over the weekend. Didn't touch a fish the whole time! Slow. Similar to TH's report.

Fished the Rogue bay on Fri (10/4). Slow there also. Didn't touch a fish. There were a few silvers caught early morning, then it went dead.
