Default Multnomah Channel Report

I've moved from the "Springer Report post" to here per Jennie's request.
I'll post the river visibility and temperature every night at about the same time.

Just so you know I gauge the visibility the same way every night, so that the standard will be the same. It's a 1/4 inch dowel rod with a white peace of round tin at the bottom. When I can no longer can read the N on the white round piece of tin, then Bingo, I have the visibility.

I live about a mile and a half down river from Rocky point Marina and two miles north of Browns landing. At Casselmans morage.

Hey, River! Love the reports. Handiest thing I've seen in a while.....but one small complaint:
You might check your calendar. The dates you post are confusing me. Today (Monday) is the 10th, and you have Sunday the 10th and Sunday the 11th.
Huh?
Only thing I can figure is that you're throwing everybody off so you get a head start on the MC before it gets crowded.
Otherwise, keep up the good work!

For guys like me from Corvallis where a springer fishing trip is an all-day affair starting with a 0500 departure from my house and a 150-200 mile round trip drive, your reports are INVALUABLE!!!!
Keep up the excellent reports-you truly are appreciated!

Riverliver,

I'm just a bit upstream of you.

I'm concerned that your report of clearing water coincides with my taking a shower and double flushing the toilet.

Maybe I ought to check the drainfield?

Ripple, I guess this is a good weekend for us to be busy. Doesn't look like it would be fishing. It would be more of a boat ride.

Work....

Does he work or just look into the river reading how far down he can see....

I think he is connected to the guy up river that showers and flushes his toilet also!

SO ....I want to here... How many boneless brown fish has he caught so far?

Maybe if he would move out of the M.C. into the Columbia....He could catch some migrating brown fish....Instead of the residents!!!Yum!

I love this forum for having a little fun with liverriver.......

He really is a great guy and a great resourse!!

Thanks liver

River needs a liver....

So....Will the boneless browns be biting this weekend?

Is the water clearing up and warming up to the conditions that will catch them little "Suckers"?

When it gets really "HOT" Can I go out with you?

Maybe you can share some of your "GOOD STUFF" with me!

With 7" of vis, we need a lot more than luck, Liver. Keep up the nice work!

BTW, what's up with you and Slutgoddess?
Is there something we should be aware of? There's no such thing as a secret on ifish.
