Anyone with a sour dough starter recipe?

Don't have a sour dough hand downed starter but would like to try to make some sour dough biscuits or pancakes - Can anyone help me out?

It has been 15 - 20 years since I used the sour dough starter called "Herman". There are a lot of "dos and don'ts" so I would suggest
checking out the recipe online. The one at this site appears to be
very close to the one that I used:
