Default WTB Bait Caster

Looking to buy bait casting reel for bass fishing. Not stuck on 1 brand but would like at least 5:1 gear ratio. Less than $100.00. Thanks.

Hey Slick, if you can't find what you're looking for here, have you seen the Abu Garcia Black Max?

6.2:1 gears, weighs just under 8 ounces, and it retails new for about $50 or so at places like Bi Mart, Dicks, and Fisherman's. Comes in left or right hand retrieve. Black Max has a "flippin" button that when activated, makes the casting lever spring loaded, you release it and it re-engages, so you don't have to turn the reel handle to engage the spool. Kind of a neat feature. Also worked nice to extend the drift of a bobber/jig on the steelhead rod...I had one for a short period of time, until that rod & reel grew legs and walked off with someone else

If you can find a good used one, or a sale - the Revo S is a wonderful little reel itself. Splurged and got one for my steelhead drifter... They occasionally go on sale for about $100 - new, I think I paid $150 ish.

Thanks mkwerx. Yeah, I had a nice Revo and some lowlifes decided they needed it more than I did while I was in a motel in Wheeler last summer. I paid $80.00 for it on sale. Would like to have another one if I can get it right.
