Billy Chinook Fishing Techniques?

Help! : ) I'm going with my family to Billy Chinook and just want some ideas on how I can troll that lake for different types of fish and how I should rig up my line.

I've never done much trout trolling except in Hag Lake with Ford Fenders and a wedding ring.

Does that work in Billy Chinook?

I would sure be cool if we caught a Kokanee.

My limit, I'm no expert but what I do is troll flashers and a wedding ring (green and red) tipped with white corn. 3 oz of lead and start at about 15 pulls and adjust from there. I like to fish up the metoleus (sp) arm around the island. You will need an indian permit up there. Hope that helps you get started.

Hit the Metolius Arm, trolling the shorelines with a silver/black Rapalla and hang on. By the way, be sure it's with steelhead-type gear. Da' Bull be Knockin' at your door!
