Do all the W fish go up the MC?

I would say no. Last year a buddy of mine caught two clipped fish in the main stream of the Columbia The fish checker said they were chipped. When he got the cards from the ODFW the said both fish were from the Santiam river.

I troll the mouth the of Willamette all the time with great results.

I caught one hen last year and upon puling the boat out at chinook landing the fish checker told me this was a willamette river fish. I think he based this on the color of a certain part of the fish iam not sure.

Do all of the Willamette springers go up the MC or do some go by Frenchman's Bar, Davis Bar, and then head up the mouth of the Willamette?

Since I have caught them between KP and the MC, I'd speculate that not *all* of them go up the MC.
