"Think Pink"
Great looking pattern!
For cold water would work best using pink corky in front of it, a 2.5' 10# leader a short dense sink tip (pencil lead) , and a 8.5' drift rod!

Re: Name the fly contest
It has some characteristics of the classic hairwing patterns like the Skykomish Sunrise and the Stillaguamish Sunrise. With the pink color of early morning, why not call it the Wilson Sunrise or (if you want to be more generic) the Coastal Sunrise.
Terrific looking fly. For the record, I'll take my winnings in flys.

Name was chosen by using the Wilson River, and the fly is an imitation bug.

OK, enough with the sexual themes.
You have to stretch it pretty far to see sex in a fishing fly.

He said only ONE entry per ifisher. I am sure Shane is having "sheer bliss" choosing a name that will be a "knockout" and fit his pink fly.
