Uh oh!
Just got several really nasty notes from master caster, that he is not done stirring the **** on ifish.
He is mad about some sleeping guide, and the lack of my reaction to that, and to an unamed charter that is supposedly mishandling fish.
I guess, not only should I have ESP, and know which people he is talking about, but I should also be the better business beareau, the police, and the ODFW...
Wow, Ifish must be powerful.
We have apologized, and explained our position, to no avail.

One other thing you might want to know is I am not finished "stiring" things up. I have been contacted by a few members that are sending me some interesting video of a certain "sleeping guide" does that ring a bell. He is a very well known guide on your site but you dont care about that do you. He only put the lives of all his clients in danger as well as giving them a horrible trip. But you still get your money from his so its all good im sure.

Obviously, he is wishing me a speedy recovery.

Re: Uh oh!
Oh, this is nice, too.
----
First off I couldnt care less about my posting privledges.
Second, and I quote "we have apologized and explained a thousand times." Pete so so apologized once and I received one e-mail from pete and one from you that "explained" what you wanted to explain and that was it my questions were never answered.
Third, I never had my "buddy" post anything. He did that on his own because I sent him all the E-mails and posts. He also didnt understand and wanted some answers.
another quote from you.....We have decided that you have different motives than we care to address." My "motives" are only to do my part in protecting the fishing privledges tha we have now. That means making sure people are notified of the wrong doings of other fishermen and especially commercial fishermen.
I also sent all of the emails and posts to many other Ifisherman and noone thought I had done anything out of line. They thought Pete was WAY out of line and you were also very rude in your responce to me. You have your special friends on Ifish and everyone else is just there to fill the site with hits.
I noticed you were concerned about if Ifish was like a cold shoulder to new members, well now its not bad but around the time that I joined until about 3 months ago YOU had your certain people you resonded to in an instant and that was it. Most new guys would make a post and it would just fall off the board with only a couple replys. Seems like you decided to do some suckin up lately to me.
You can expect to recieve your decals returned to you in the mail. If anyone ever askes me about Ifish I WILL tell them my opinion of it and how you handle "business" and treat your members. You may think everything is hunky dory but many people on your site disagree with the way you handle things. Im just the one that gets the boot because I brought it out in the open.
You have a wonderful life but dont forget to wipe the brown spot off your nose once in awhile, You know the one you have from having your nose so far up your sponsors ***** .

Re: Uh oh!
Jen...What are you...the "Guide Police"??
I'd suggest that if this guy has a beef with someone...he call the Guides and Packers Assn. if they're still around. I witnessed a rather unproffesional performance a few years back, and reported it...Don't know what happened after that...but at least I made an attempt to bring it to the attention to what I thought to be the right organization.
Stir up Ifish?? All I got to say is that those who do...usually end up looking like idiots.

Jen,
You can't help those who can't help themselves. Some people are just dont have anything better to do than to try to destroy the good things that other worthy people built... like you. He has an idea... ideology (sp?) and turns it into a mission to destory... can you say Ifish terrorist???
Don't worry about idiots like this it will only take time away from the healing process for you and distract from all the good around you!

Re: Uh oh!
I'll say it one more time.
If anyone of the sponsors do not obey the law, and I am provided with proof, they will not be sponsors on ifish. Period.
I had a sponsor once, who I was provided proof about, and it took me ten hours to remove every trace of him, but I did it.
I must, however, be supplied with the name of the accused and be provided proof.
This issue was brought up a long time ago with some guide they accused of falling asleep.
However, they would never even e mail me the name of the suspect.
Of course, they now accuse me of doing nothing about it.
I give..... and I don't want to play. I hurt.... wah.

Re: Uh oh!
Thing is, I TRIED to make him happy.
I even gave him my phone number, so we could talk it out.
No call... This only makes me believe that he wants to just stir things up, and that, in fact, is what he has stated.
So, this is just a warning. Ifish is under attack by some members who are unhappy.
I find it sad that we all really think the same things and work for the same goals, our fisheries, yet we can't stay on the same page.
Why wouldn't he call me to work it out?
Pete got frustrated, and wrote something to me that ended up in his hands, and he got mad. I apologized. It was my bad mistake to forward it. He wouldn't accept the apology, just wanted to fight more.
I give... I'm going to go eat pancakes the kids made me.
If any of you people who are mad at ifish want to work this out, I am here. You have my phone number.
Jen

Re: Uh oh!
You know what's funny?
Now I'll have people who will complain about the bad language on ifish.
I can't please everyone so.... I'm going to go fishing.
Oh wait, I can't, dangit.
I'm just going to go.

Re: Uh oh!
Hope you are recovering Jen. We do care about you.
In response to the angry dude........Well, ya know, I have never had a class that hasn't had at least one crazy kid, one angry kid, one crybaby and one dissapproving brat that says he's goin' to tell his mommy or the administration.....and thats out of a group only 30-40 kids.
You are dealing with thousands of agin' ol' boys that are in daily fear of their diminishing 'potence' in the world. And they frequently cry about it in a variety of ways. Have faith in yourself. You are doing a rock solid job here. At some point being polite and helpful is being naive! Hang up on the dummy!
Hope you get back to 100% soon.

Re: Uh oh!
Hey,
I just got back from a great day of fishing, I went out and had fun. Isn't that what fishing is all about.
I wasn't to pleased when I got back and saw this thread. I was sent an email from pete talking about making private things public. And that if I had a problem with the way ifish is handling things to do it through email. Well Jen it looks like you made this pretty public but as long as it isn't going bad on you, you dont care. I did read all of the emails and the Acid comment shouldn't have been made AT ALL. What would it have mattered if it "fell" into MC's hands. When I was growing up and did stupid stuff out of anger I was told to take responcibility for my actions. And as far as the post I made went. I got done reading the emails that Jen and Pete had sent him and made the post. I sent it to him after I made the post. He told me nothing. I also find it funny that you guys call him a trouble maker. He became a member of ifish in May of 2001, member #1097. Ever seince day one he kept telling me how good the site was and that I should join. So a few months ago I did. Then all of this happens. MC enjoyed ifish and when he talked to people on the river bank said nothing but good about it. But now I dont even think I can do that.
I have to go now, im in the process of cleaning my room. And by the way I didn't catch any fish but I still had fun.
- Nick

Re: Uh oh!
Jen, it's good to see you back in the saddle but stress is not good for a speedy recovery :depressed: Please take care of your self and heal up before you tackle icky stuff. This fella can wait and maybe that would be best for now. It's easy for people to take things out of context when they are just reading them on a bb and not able to HEAR the inflection of their voice so perhaps there is just a mix up or miscomunication happening but I'm still on the fence about this one Your decision is what counts and for what it's worth you have my support . Now be a good girl and go rest by the river and listen to the riffle a while.

Re: Uh oh!
you can never please everyone. do what you feel is right when it comes to pleasing the many over pleasing the few. If there is a big problem that he sees with the site, then he can go elsewhere, my god, its only a website (you know what I mean). You are never going to agree with everyone, or everything.
Lets get back to busn....I  was told the mouth of the sandy is heating up.. I sure hope we get some rain soon.

Re: Uh oh!
Pete, Thmpr, Somebody, DELETE this tread! This is not the time to be worrying about an issue (or non-issue) like this. Jen, if you have to, bring this back up in a couple of weeks, but don't devote energy or eye-time to it right now. Relax, girl, and get well.
You know, we were going to send you a bouquet while you were in the hospital, but got another idea. The flowers were going to be $32, so we bought you a $2 card and sent the other $30 to Gary Krum in your name. I think we'd like *all* of our ifishers to get well. That's what we need to focus on for the time being.
Relax. This can be handled in its own good time.

Jen I am sorry to see you have to return to a mess however I believe that your labor of love, ifish, is in good hands (yours and the people who help).
I do not know what this is about and do not want to dwell on the negative but the positives of ifish and this sport we all love.
I do trust that you will do what is right for you and ifish and I am grateful to be a small part of this good work.
Jen get well and remember BOBBER DOWN.
PS: I got a 40lb buck this morning.

There's a member here who's signature says something like " half of the people you meet will be below average". I know that's meant to be humerous, but there's some truth to it.
Let him rant and rave, blow off steam, and ignore him.

Re: Uh oh!
I think that one of the things that makes ifish special is that I do care about each and every member, and their opinions.
I try very hard to make sure everyone feels that I am fair, even if I screw up.
Sometimes e mail communication is not the best way to take care of misunderstandings, and this may be a case in point.
I am talking to Master Caster, and I hope that we can work things out.
I believe that his intentions are good, and that we had a mixup between different personality types, combined with e mail communications.
I sincerely hope that everything gets worked out.
I think everyone knows how much I care about selecting only the best guides and charters, and that we are all, as businesses, upheld by law and our success, largely dependent on good ethics.
Talk about diving back into reality from a drug induced surgery vacation!
