Default My Hero

Ok all you newbees and wannabees, listen up. I will take major grief for this, but I'll survive....... and for those of you that have been around awahile, this is the same friend that we yanked his chain when he sold his old sled last year............. I have just discovered that ......"HE IS MY HERO"..........hard for me to say in public, cause he is better than me in some fisheries, but not the ones that count (bobber), but he is does catch fish... always catches fish, lots of fish, always..... here's why.. first , he makes the big bucks, 6 figures, didn't not start fishing till mid March, I was is his boat last week and then again for 4 hrs mid day today, punched out both times, heres the good part, remember he makes the big bucks.... in talking to him, he put 69 or so springers in his boat, over 500 smallies on two trips to the snake canyon and as of today he is 39 URB's, did not do Astoria this year, now considering that he started Mid march, till mid Sept, about 180 days, subtract 40 or so for weekends, that leaves about 140 weekdays, well heres the cool thing, today was trip number 128........ thats why he is my hero............ Me and another of his best friends are starting a fan club, for only 9.98 you too can be a member. We don't have all the details worked out, but we do have the secret handshake worked out, did it after each fish the last few days............. great fun.............. so.. for those of you that are just learning, BE LIKE JEFF!!!!! might as well set your sights high.................. by the way, he is also the best salesman that I know, but he is also short and ugly, so who cares............ OK, I am going to take major HE!! for posting this, but those of you just starting out, if you truly love fishing, find or create a career that lets you fish when it is good and is not dependant on being at a desk 8 hr a day.............I know, it took me 12 years to make it happen for me, but it was well worth it..............now... I JUST WANT TO BE LIKE JEFF............

See that's the thing about my almost brother-in-law Steve that makes him so endearing  He is full of **** and he knows it! In fact he knows that we know it too.
BTW Steve what was the deal with those kneepads for a doorprize at the Steelheaders meeting last night?
