Default Yaquina Still Slow 09/20

Fished the low thru the high tides today. Very slow with moderate pressure from Riverbend up through the number 31 marker. I know of 5 fish caught. It might have picked up on the outgoing this afternoon, but we finally called it quits about 2 PM.

There are still herring available at high tide, with a mixture of small shad too for you halibut fisherman.

Cast n Blast,

I too am going to be on the river the weekend of the 28th... I have my stickers on, so watch for me in a black and silver 18 Hewescraft.

I am gonna hit it in the morning again, but will only be able to last for a couple of hours because of other obligations.

I'll let you know if it is any better in the AM.

I also fished the Yaquina Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. There was a little bit of a bite Thursday p.m. Yesterday, it was slow. We did get one fish but there weren't many caught. Seems to be quite a few fish in the river but....
