Default Salmon river is hot

Fished the Salmon river today and what a show it was. I lost a bunch and put a 36 pounder in the boat. The red barn hole must of put out over 20 fish. Bobber fishing was the ticket. I caught mine on a orange corkie and lost many more with the same setup. People fishing the bank were also doing pretty good. On a sour note, the locals who think they own that river displayed there typicall lame attitude. Those of you who fish the salmon alot know just what im talking about. Oh, and by the way, some of you might be mad because im giving to much info out. To bad. That's what ifish is about, sharing knowledge . I don't believe in being a zipperlip. So go to the salmon if you want to catch fall chinook.

Great post, LeatherNeck!!

I'll be there VERY early in the morning!!

Besides, how much more crowded could it really get?? That river gets insane the last 2 weeks of September every year, regardless of the reports. Much of the crowd that fishes there probably isn't even capable of turning a computer on, much less finding IFISH and getting a report!!

And, let's face it, there's really not many of us that can put up with and ever ENJOY that type of insanity just for a measly little fishie!! (I'm one of those   )
