Default S Santiam, Alsea, Nehalem Report

Since I don't wanna be the new guy asking questions without giving answers, here's my latest fishing report for those who care

S Santiam - There are still plenty of summers available if you can keep the old springers off your line long enough to find one. Myself and 2 buddies went a few days ago. In 4 hours or we hooked 20-25 springers and 3 summers. 2 Bright, believe it or not, springers were landed and a ton of dark ones. If you have kids or anyone you just want to get the feel of a big fish, this is a good time to get down and get them hooked up. All corkie colors and black jigs were the ticket for us. First 3 casts with the jig all produced fish.

Alsea - Fished lower tidewater out to the jaws, minimal boat pressure, minimal fish. 5hrs, 0 fish, saw only 1 fish caught.

Nehalem - Fished at Foss RD, river is stacked with fish there, all with lockjaw. Had my bobber rolled on if that counts for anything. Fished for 3 hrs or so and no fish hooked other than pogies. Probably 7 or 8 lines in the water, 0 hook ups

Hope this helps anyone looking to get out this weekend.

Great report, thanx for the contribution.

This colder weather and full moon, those springers should go on the spawn and disappear any day now!
