Ifish get together.

Anyone ever do this? Get a few guys and ladies to meet at a spot and dew a little fishing and bs'en. We should try to get one together so we can put a face with the names. That might scare the heck out me :grin:

Niceshot, yes they do get together! You missed the biggy last weekend, the yearly IfishStock gathering.

With the big Salmon Floatilla about to happen on T-Bay, I'd like to suggest a good place for I-fishers to meet and BS about fishing over a beer or three. Garibaldi Pub, seems to be a good fishermens hangout in early October. Good beer, eats, and BS..... Any others have a good suggestion?

Funny you should ask! Why, just last weekend we held the 3rd Annual Ifishstock event. You should have been there!

Do a search for Ifishstock and you'll see a lot! We also get together for "roll calls", flotillas, fin clipping events, carcass tossing, ODFW meetings and more ... keep watching! And then there are the smaller, informal meetings where someone invites other fishing. Some of the most fun are posted as "open seats", which give people who've never met the chance to fish together.

Of course there was ifishstock, but occasionally it seems crabbait and some others look at meeting at the Lucky Lab Tavern in SE Portland on Fridays after work. Kinda a long ways from Yakima.

Maybe we can have travelling get togethers. Jennie was talking about a holiday gig somewhere in the Portland area, but probably not this year due to short planning windows.

Well kids, I did advertise F6 in Sekiu on the board but it was unfortunate that ifishstock was the same weekend. All of you are invited to come and join us on the Chehalis for F6.9 Oct 5th & 6th for some fishin' and fun. The campsite is at Friends Landing just west of Montesano. If you want that is also the fall opener for razor clams in Washington also. Looks to be about 20 folks or so already committed to being there so come on up and join the fun!!!

There have been a number of Flotilla's also. Last weekend was Flotilla 6 in Sekiu. To bad about the conflict of gatherings. I would have liked to have attended Ifishstock.
