Got my new boat, thanks for all the advice
I bought a 21' Thuder Jet and love it, I have 10 hours on it (Break in). Actually my Dad and I went in on it together, makes the payments much more affordable and we will fish together anyways. I have an Uncle in Netarts, we are going to leave Thursday after work and fish Fri - Sunday. Any advice on were to fish.. we have fished T-Bay and the Nehalem a little. Hope to see some of you, I need to get an Ifish Sticker now that I have a boat!
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Got my new boat, thanks for all the advice
Here's some good advice. Read my post about "Stolen Fishing equipment". Keep your stuff locked up. Just bought a new boat a couple months ago. Theives are on the lookout so ensure you keep your accessories locked up in the house. I had downriggers, GPS, battery, camera and VHF radio stolen out of the locked cabin.
Enjoy your boat, I will start re-enjoying mine here soon.

Re: Got my new boat, thanks for all the advice
Congrats on the new TJ. Wish I could tell you where to get it bloody but I haven't heard much. There was a good bite going just outside the jetties at Tbay last weekend but conditions don't look good for that this weekend. We did see a nice one picked up inside next to the north jetty also.
Let us know how you do.

Re: Got my new boat, thanks for all the advice
I got the PFI 350 and a Merc 9.9. A Lowrance LMS 240 (which I am still learning all the features and how to use). It has the 1/2 hard top, Fish Deck and Rails, and I also got the Panther steering system. Paid about 40.000.00 plus Tax, 10% down on a 15 year with 8% Interest. So is the bay the best choice for Friday??
Thanks
Jeff
